WRG Discus

WRG Discus is owned by Bob Grainger who is based in Edinburgh and has been keeping fish for over 35 years. The current premises contain 20 tanks and there is a new extension underway that will expand the business considerably.

Bob currently stocks Solid Reds, Marl Reds, Red Pigeon Bloods, Blue Pigeon Bloods, Alenquer Reds and Solid Blues. Water is changed every 2/3 days and all of the water goes through a metal axe system. 50% of bob’s tanks are on a centralised system and the local water has a neutral pH and is very soft.

In addition to the fish Bob also helps clients to set up their tanks and offers a follow-up advice on all customer queries. Bob suggests that it is this attention to detail that has afforded him with a reputation for keeping and supplying quality discus fish and for searching out answers – no matter what the problem may be!
